The Recruit
Do you want to leave school at Christmas? Do you know what you want to do after school?
The Scottish Government reported that the proportion of leavers entering employment in 2010/11 was 19.3%, this is one of the lowest levels since 1992/93.
Enterprise is offering 20 places to S4/5 students in Aberdeen City, who plan to leave school at Christmas, an opportunity to develop employability and life skills by taking part in The Recruit.
You will take part in a variety of tasks that will:
- increase your confidence
- enhance your employability skills
- develop your business awareness
The four month programme starts on the 21st August.
You will hear from North-East business people, who will share their business experiences and the route they have taken to get to where they are now.
Students will be complete a SQA Award in Employability Skills Level3.
