The Recruit
The Recruit is an out of school programme that aims to develop the skills necessary to succeed in the world of work of S4 / S5 pupils who are planning on leaving school at Christmas.
The programme will enhance employability skills, self confidence and self belief of those taking part. The four month programme starts in August and all youngsters work together on projects, challenges and activities.
They will hear from North-East business people, who will share their business experiences and the route they have taken to get to where they are now. Students will be stretched as individuals and will have their skills and innovation tested at every opportunity.
