Keynote Speaker Announced
Dr Frank Dick OBE, the former coach of Olympic gold medal winners Daley Thompson and Denise Lewis, has been announced as the keynote speaker for this year's Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise.
Dr Frank Dick OBE, the current President of the European Athletics Coaches Association, will deliver his speech to finalists attending the 10th annual awards on Thursday October 22, 2009. The awards recognise business achievements among companies and entrepreneurs in the north east of Scotland and are organised by Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise) and sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Known for his motivational speaking skills, Frank currently runs his own lifecoaching business. He has a long history of coaching international sports stars including Wimbledon champion Boris Becker and British golfer Justin Rose. He was inducted into the UK Coaches Hall of Fame in 1999. He has also applied his successful coaching skills to a business setting, helping global companies such as BMW and American Express.
