General Rules

• The awards will be administered by Enterprise North East Trust Limited.
• Entrants must be based in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire at time of entry and award presentation.
• Entrants cannot enter an award category that they have previously won.
• Enterprise North East Trust Limited will appoint a judging panel to make an assessment of the entries, and to draw up a shortlist in each category.
• This short list will be invited for interview and asked to present to the judging panel, the information will be reviewed and assessed by the judging panel and a category winner will be chosen.
• The winners will be the businesses that, in the opinion of the judges, demonstrate the greatest fulfilment of the category criteria.
• The judges decision is final and binding, no correspondence will be entered into.
• By entering you agree to supply any additional financial or other information requested. Entrants consent to this information being made available to judges and third parties associated with the awards.
• The shortlisted companies and winners agree to take part and assist with any promotional activities or PR supporting the awards.
• The judges reserve the right to re-allocate entries which, in their view, are incorrectly entered.
• Promising New Business - under 18 months old at the deadline for applications.
• Business Success - over and under 3 years at the deadline for applications.
• Closing date for registration is 5pm Wednesday 24^th June 2009
• The deadline for completed applications is 5pm Monday 3^rd August 2009. Entries received after this date will not be entered into the Awards.
• Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
• All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their submission
• No responsibility will be taken by Enterprise North East Trust, or any sponsors or companies associated with the awards for delayed, lost or damaged entries.
• The prizes are as detailed in this literature, no alternatives or variations are offered and you cannot transfer the prize. Cash prize will be made payable to the winners.
• Winners will not be announced until the evening of the Awards Dinner, Thursday 22^nd October, at Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen.
