The 32 finalists in this year's Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise are unveiled today. Representing businesses from across the north east, a diverse range of companies have made it through to the second round. From beer, retro clothing and training solutions to recruitment, logistics and engineering design, this year's awards attracted an influx of entries with over 100 businesses applying.

Applications

The application process
The first stage requires applicants to complete a simple online or paper application form Those applicants who are successfully short listed will be asked to prepare a more detailed submission and provide supplementary information as required for stage 2.

Applicants who are successfully short listed following stage 2 will be invited to present to the judging panel in April 2008.

Prizes

All winners will be presented with a unique handcrafted Award.

The winner of the Sir Ian Wood Award for Innovation will receive a cheque for
£5000
