Finalists Announced
Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise 2005 Environmentally friendly bugs, antibody production, fitness fanatics, a Livestock Mart, a Mexican and pizza delivery company and a leading charity are at the heart of some of the businesses which are finalists in the Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise. The finalists were announced on 6th April following a record breaking number of entries. The Awards, which are in their sixth year, recognise business achievement in the north east for companies of all sizes and are organised by Enterprise North East Trust(Enterprise) and sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland and Business Gateway (in association with Scottish Enterprise Grampian). The award categories for 2005 are as follows: - New Business Award - businesses that have been trading for less than 1 year at 1 June 2005.

Businesses applying for the award should highlight significant enterprise, growth, and development of new ideas and contribution to the local economy.

This should demonstrate originality and innovation in product or service delivery, and have had or have the potential to have a positive impact on the Grampian economy.

The Award is for personal achievement and may reflect the success and/or performance of more than one business venture.
