Did you start trading after 1st June 2004?

Have you exceeded your expectations and forecasts?

Then enter this award for the most promising performance by a young company. The judges are looking for evidence that you:

  • Have delivered on – and exceeded – your original business plan
  • Can articulate clearly your business idea and start up process, giving evidence of a well researched business plan and forecasts for business performance
  • Have hard, tangible evidence of commercial success; effective financial controls will be important to the success of the business as will customer-focused marketing strategies
  • Have high degree of entrepreneurship and vision for the future, with the potential for further growth and expansion in turnover, profits and employment levels
  • Have a statement as to what differentiates your business from the competition
  • Can prove a track record in customer satisfaction and continued commitment to exceeding customer expectations, recognising the contribution from staff when dealing with customers
