Did you start trading after 1st June 2006? Are you exceeding your expectations and forecasts?

Then enter this award for the most promising performance by a new company.

The judges are looking for evidence that you:

  • Can articulate clearly your business idea and start up process, giving evidence of a well researched business plan and forecasts for business performance
  • Are delivering on – and exceeding – your original business plan
  • Can demonstrate a clearly defined vision for developing and growing the business in terms of both turnover and employment
  • Have systems in place to measure performance effectively, particularly in terms of financial controls
  • Have a strategy for staff development and for involving the workforce in the growth of the business.
  • Have a strong focus on the needs of the customer through effective marketing strategies.
