The Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise are presented in association with The Royal Bank of Scotland and Business Gateway and seek to encourage enterprise by selecting and rewarding entrepreneurial companies and individuals that are capable of leading the future prosperity of Grampian.

Applications are now closed for the 2006 Awards.

The award categories and finalists for 2006 are as follows:


Tickets

Applications

The application process

The first stage requires applicants to complete an online application form (applications are now closed for 2006). Those applicants who are successfully short listed will be asked to prepare a more detailed submission and provide supplementary information as required for stage 2.

Applicants who are successfully short listed following stage 2 will be invited to present to the judging panel in April 2006.

New Start Award - businesses that have been trading for less than 1 year at 1 June 2006. Prize a unique handcrafted Award and a cheque for £3000.

Spirit of Enterprise

The Alick Buchanan Smith Spirit of Enterprise Award - for businesses that have been trading for more than 5 years at 1 June 2006. Businesses applying for the award should highlight significant enterprise, growth, and development of new ideas and contribution to the local economy. Prize a unique handcrafted Award and a cheque for £3000.

Award for Innovation

Sir Ian Wood Award for Innovation - for businesses who can demonstrate an innovative approach to product or service development.
